A hand carved wooden hen scaup duck decoy from the up state New York – Canada region possibly Quebec, circa 1945. Measures 14 inches from the tip of the bill to the tail, painted eyes, missing the ballast weight and anchor tie, notch carved tail feathers. Guaranteed to be as described/pictured.
NOTE; most of the shine on the decoys is from the camera lights
